I am sorry but I am not going to be posting to the site for a while. My beloved husband passed away Friday morning. I only had him in my life for 2.5 years. We had our 1st wedding anniv. in Sept. I will be checking the site now and again to keep up but not posting.

Oh my God.Mine passed away 1-8-10, going to have the 2nd anniversary of his death in 4 more days. Are you having a lot of pain in your soul(almost your stomach)?I did for 6-7 months. My son and I called it the gamma ray burst to the soul.I am very sad for you, know the pain very very well, I'm not found of it.Throw yourself into taking the best care of YOU as you can..A chaplain told me,eat, sleep, exercise, and don't get depressed.Easy for him to say, right!?If you need to talk, I'm here.Karen-God Bless You and your husband, may he rest in peace.

I am soooo sorry to hear about your loss stillearning, anytime of the year is a bad time for something like this to happen but Christmas/New Year is really bad. I know as I lost my Dad on 01/09/1960 when I was 10 years old and my mother on 011/26/1968 when I was 19 years old. This time of year I tend to get very depressed and it is not a joyous time for me. I used to go through the motions for the sake of my boys when they were younger. The immediate pain and loss decrease as time goes on but at the age of 62 I still feel their loss at this time of year. May God be with you in this difficult time and keep you safe in his loving arms. I will be thinking of you.

Am getting to the point of posting again. Mostly for support. 1st surgeon appt. was hard as I am having so much mental pain as well as physical and he wants me to stop smoking. Psych doc gave me 1 month of chantix. Haven't started it yet as my closest in proximity support left for Texas for 2 weeks and made me promise not to start till they were back due to psych side effects and I have several mental illnesses. But surgeon is adament about 6 weeks of nicotine free before he will consider doing surgery. Need to quit anyway for financial reasons but am not sure this is the right time due to grieving so bad. Have heard alot about side effects of Chantix but will work very hard to quit and stay quit. Although side effects can be bad for someone like me I will work very hard to keep stable.
