The painkiller, called tapentadol ER, could provide a new alternative for the relief of chronic pain if approved by the FDA.

Add your commentI would Love to Find to find a painkiller with less side effect's. I have taken just about everything out there and nothing is without the terrible side effect's! ( I dont do well with extended release med's tho)… it is very discouraging, and causes more stress for me which in turn causes more pain…very vicious cycle! I have been dealing with this since my 1st back surgery in 1995! Any info will be very helpful to me, since I am trying to work with my Dr and nurse to alleviate some of my pain…
Let me know how it works. I am always hoping that there is something out there that will make my pain go away and not be addictive.
I will gladly try any new drug that promises relief and less side affects. Over the years I have tried everything and I mean everything. That includes drugs and treatments. Tapentadol?? Bring it on!
Torodol…Extended Release…it never worked for me…
That is a good question. If it is not a narcotic, then what is it and how does it work in laymans terms.
Is this a narcotic pain killer? I'm wondering what's out there that isn't a narcotic but helps with pain (not over the counter)…anything?
What did you find were the big downfalls to it? Did it just not work as well, or were there side effects that made it not worth it?
i have tried this drug and did not get great results. i got a few samples from pain management
This was an excellent article. I kinda figured that the drug industry had moved on to other things since there had been no breakthroughs in pain killers in quite a while. Since we are on the subject, which of the various painkillers had been the best for you as far as helping your pain with the least amount of side effects.
